We are Madara and Jelena —service designers and design researchers driven by a passion for creating meaningful solutions.
Our journey together is rooted in years of experience and a shared dedication to delivering impactful design.
With a background in leading a team of 12 UX/UI designers at one of Latvia's largest telecommunications companies, we’ve honed our skills across diverse service design, customer research, and digital design projects for both private and public sectors.
Beyond client work, we are active contributors to the UX/UI community in Latvia, organizing networking events, hackathons, and mentoring emerging designers. Our dedication has earned us the Latvian Design Award of the Year 2021 in the Service Design category.
Why Raccoonery?
Because great work happens when you enjoy doing it! We believe lasting impact comes from tackling challenges with heart—not just hustle. Even under pressure, we create a space where ideas flow, teams collaborate freely, and creativity thrives.
And "Raccoonery"? It’s our secret sauce—adaptability, resourcefulness, and a smart way to stay efficient in mixed teams, tight deadlines, and complex projects. We tackle serious challenges with a light touch and a bit of joy—because when people feel good, they do their best work.
Our mission
Our mission is to create impactful, user-centered solutions through empathy, collaboration, and hands-on design. We believe in a joyful, structured approach to uncovering real needs and aligning each solution with a clear, strategic vision for lasting impact.
